Wall sconce made from white or black Opalflex® with clear Cristalflex® or silver Steelflex®. Stainless steel support and fittings.

The silhouette of this sconce is purely traditional, down to the candle and crystal shaped cut outs; but the materials are all modern.

Dimensions 21.3W"D X 19.7"H X 11.8"Extension. Uses 1 X 100W E26 (medium base) incandescent lamp (not included).

Cristalflex®: A transparent material developed and produced by Bayer Vivak. Brilliant like glass, light and versatile as only modern materials can be.
Opalflex®: SLAMP lamps are made of this exclusive patented and recyclable material. It is luminous and attractive like glass while being versatile and resistant like plastic; it is patented and exclusively produced for SLAMP. Opalflex is an original mixture of polymers and particular additives with unique light diffusion properties.
Steelflex®: An innovative material with a perfectly reflective surface. A mirror which is also remarkable for its flexibility, a quality of all SLAMP materials.

Unique but not exactly what I'd expected

Very original, funky design -- recommended to me by the architect. The mirrored components have to be squeezed onto a foamy/structured base - which is OK (but makes assembly a little awkward) - but I could see that in "brand new" condition, the exterior of these components were simply film/tape-like and had small air bubbles beneath them and had already started to peel at the edges when I opened the box, which was disappointing....

We were blown away!

Although we were somewhat on the fence about these sconces, they really are incredible once installed. They are funky and very different than anything we have seen. Finally, when they did not arrive on time, Y Lighting actually expedited an overnight shipment so that they could be installed in time for a party we had. Thank you Darren!
