Display Lights

Note: The below information applies to WAC Lighting display lights only and is not applicable to the Bruck Lighting display lights.

Ideal for lighting temporary exhibits, booths, craft displays, etc. Rod models periscope from 22" to 32" All models come equipped with a standard clamp (accomodates flat surfaces �" to 2�" wide), a 10� cord and plug. Other clip options may be purchased separately.

Low voltage styles include a 60W 3-prong grounded plug-in electronic transformer. The 008FP framing projector may be used with the model 007, and is perfect for lighting any four-sided object on a wall. A UV filter lens is available to protect artwork. The filter lens clip is available to hold the lens on the flexible model 214.

Line voltage display lights satisfy a wide variety of lighting tasks. The model 24 flexible directs the light exactly where needed and accepts any medium base lamp; a PAR 16 lamp can be hidden within the cylinder or a PAR 38 can be used to light a good sized area. Model 150 is supplied with a J-200 halogen lamp and brings a high level of light to displayed merchandise, exhibits, etc. Model 188 accepts any medium base lamp and extends up to 32" from the wall.

1. Are the display lights UL or ETL approved?

They are ETL approved. ETL is a competitor of UL who focuses on the electrical industry as opposed to UL who handles a wider scope of products. Many other companies in the lighting industry carry the ETL safety label including Lithonia, Thomas Industries and Progress Lighting. You can read more about ETL certification at their website.

2. Are the display lights low or line voltage? How do I determine which one to use?

We offer heads that cover a variety of lamps. For example, the DL-007 can be used with the 008FP framing projector, and the DL-150 is supplied with a 200W halogen which will cover a large area. The DL-024 will take a barn door attachment like the PAR20BD.
3. What colors are available?

Each style is available in black and white.
4. How far do they extend?

They periscope from 22" to 32".
5. What is the " standard clamp" that comes with the display lights?

The standard clamp works on flat surfaces �" to 2�" wide.
6. What else is equipped with the display light?

Besides the standard clamp, the fixture comes with a 10� cord and 3-prong plug. The DL-150 includes a 200W halogen bulb.
7. Can I get the display light with a 2-prong plug instead of a 3-prong plug?

No � they only come in the 3-pin.
8. What is the difference between the different clamps?

The DLC-4 is adjustable to accommodate flat surfaces from �" to 4" wide. The DLC-P pipe clamp works on pipes up to 2�" in diameter.

9. Where would you use such a display light?

They are ideal for use in lighting temporary exhibit booths, craft displays, and so on.
10. Is a switch supplied with the display light?

No, a 3-wire switch (SW-3) is available as an accessory � it is easily installed in the field. Available in dark brown only.
